By Car

About 5 minutes from "Yoshida-Kakeya IC" on the Matsue Expressway. From the Hiroshima side, take the Chūgoku Expressway via "Miyoshi-higashi JCT" and the Matsue Expressway — approx. 1 hour. About 1h 40min from Hiroshima Airport, and about 40 minutes from Izumo Enmusubi Airport.

By Train

About 30 to 45 minutes by car from "Kisuki Station" on the JR Kisuki Line. From the Okayama side, the JR Hakubi and Kisuki lines are recommended.

By Plane

About 40 minutes by car from Izumo Enmusubi Airport. About 1h 40min by car from Hiroshima Airport. From the airport, please use a rental car or our reserved pick-up service.

Area Information

Sitting in the satoyama of Unnan and Yoshida — known as the holy ground of "tatara" ironmaking — Wakatsuki is a single-party-per-day auberge. Sugaya Tatara Sannai, said to be the model for the tatara settlement in "Princess Mononoke", lies in the same Yoshida district.
